March 29th – The Newmarket Saints will officially open the 2019 season with the start of training camp next week.

It’s a very different feeling coming in this year after the team’s surprise run at the end of 2018 that led to a playoff birth.

“2018 was a big bounce back for us. Now we need to build on that momentum," said Saints President and GM, Dan Vertolli. "We want this to be a special place to play and that starts with the guys on the floor. Come ready to compete and we'll give you an opportunity."

Training Camp Dates

The Saints have a busy first week with two tryouts in Newmarket and a pre-season tournament in St. Catharines. Here’s the full details.

o  Game 1 @ 12PM vs Hamilton
o  Game 2 @ 4PM vs St. Catharines
o  Game 3 @ 7PM vs Welland

Each tryout costs $10 to attend. Attendance of the games will be coordinated through the coaching staff.

New This Year

Any new or returning player attending a run for the first time must register with the OLA and bring proof. Without it, you cannot go on the floor. Go to this page to register now.
